Dr Sherwynna Lee (she/her)
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia in Brisbane, Australia. I am the owner of Duality Psychology, a boutique psychology practice in Coorparoo, Brisbane/Meanjin.
I am passionate about supporting people to develop a deep awareness of their inner experiences and to break unhelpful patterns of behaviour to create a meaningful and fulfilling life.

I have a special interest in working with identity exploration, anxiety disorders and OCD, interpersonal and relational concerns, cultural related topics (particularly Asian mental health), and the cross-section of systemic factors and mental health. I use an integrative approach with an attachment-focused lens in therapy. I have trained in various evidence-based therapeutic frameworks. My therapeutic style can best be described in dualities – both flexible and structured, warm and firm, serious and playful, and acceptance and change focused.
I have worked collaboratively with clients from different age groups and walks of life across acute and community public hospital systems and in private practice. In addition to providing direct client care, I have been in leadership and project management roles which included providing staff mentoring and developing a new mental health service in the PA hospital focused on suicide prevention alongside peer support workers.
In supervision, I enjoy working with insightful and motivated supervisees. In particular, I enjoy working with early career practitioners and utilizing a model of self-reflection. My supervision style is to meet you where you are in your professional journey as a mental health practitioner – either as a teacher, mentor, peer or cheerleader. I am committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space to support your growth. I provide supervision to Provisional Psychologists completing their postgraduate training through Griffith University. I am also a visiting Senior Psychologist at Pop! Psychology providing clinical supervision and training.
Personally, I identify as a cis woman originally from Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Ethnically I am Malaysian Chinese, often identifying closely with the phrase “belonging in two worlds and none at the same time”. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my two fur babies, and finding different ways to move my body through yoga or dance.
